| Wow it's been a year since I last posted? O_o Good lawd.
Anyhow, I've been making myself comfortable at home after final exams and doing a lot of reading, and by a lot of reading I mean like an account at Book Nook reading, el oh el. This past month I've been able to consume The Hidden Stars (all three!), re-read The Wheel of Time: The Eye of the World, Dune: House Atreides, House Harkonnen and House Corrino. Okay so maybe that's not quite as much as some people read, but a lot for me. Hot cocoa cups and blankets (which reminds me that I should buy another one from Brookstone ><) can be friends, too!
Currently I've begun to read Frank Herbert's Dune which I've been very excited about. Normally most people start off on Dune as opposed to the prequel series, but the pretty cover images on the books caught my attention. Lol. Oh well what can I say? I've been witholding from trying to speed read through the first three so I can get to watching the tv mini-series that was on Sci-Fi channel a couple of years ago, but I'll probably end up missing details so I've been trying to pace myself. Arrrgh! It looks so awesome though:

| Owwwwwie it hurts! =( I suddenly got hit with something this morning and it kinda left a cut. Hopefully it won't scar.
Anyway, Happy New Year wheeeeeeeee! There's nothing like a night to let go and make you forget about all the troubles of the past year. I hope yer all doing great. Hehe. |
